For some reason the BBC have disabled embedding on the "official" YouTube posting of my song, but "Stefan1826MV2" has posted the whole PlayStation 3 item, so here it is (if you just want the song, it starts at 8m15). Quite pleased with the video (and I bet Line 6 are too; their logo gets almost as much screentime as me).
Here it is then; this is the the song & vid I recorded for the first in the new series of Watchdog. If you want to see the song "in context" (and find out what the hell it's all about) you can see the whole show on the BBC iPlayer here until next Thursday (the relevant bit starts at about 37min).
The new - and "relaunched" series of Watchdog begins at 8pm on BBC1 this Thursday; I'm doing a "bit" on the show which may develop into a regular feature. See the blog for more details.
There have been a couple of last-minute changes to my schedule this weekend - I was supposed to be doing Jongleurs Portsmouth on Friday and Saturday; that's now been switched to Jongleurs Southampton. HOWEVER if you're in Portsmouth and were planning on coming along on Friday, immediately after playing Jongleurs Southampton on Friday night I shall be bombing up the M27 to close at The Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth. Hope that's clear. Ish.
My appearances at the Beautiful Days rock festival and the Green Man rock festival on Saturday and Sunday respectively are unchanged (and I hope you're getting an idea of the kind of weekend I've got ahead of me).
Meanwhile, next weekend; I'm pleased to announce that I WILL be playing the Leeds and Reading Rock Festivals after all. I'm on Leeds on Friday and Reading on Sunday.
(edited to add: and with this in mind I've updated my gigs list.)
I've just got back from the Latitude Festival; while there on Friday I shot three videos in one afternoon at the behest of the BBC who wanted stuff to put up on their Latitude page. Incredibly, Ben Cave and the rest of his team from Somethin' Else had them edited and posted on the BBC site by 5pm the next day.
Hope you like 'em:
All the dates (I think) are now in for the autumn tour. They're up on the gigs page but to save you sifting through the gig list here they are:

Thanks to everyone who came to either of my sets at Glastonbury last weekend; for those of you who weren't there, I'm appearing at some more festivals over the summer:
At Latitude (15th-18th July) I'm recording The Now Show on the Thursday evening, then appearing in The Early Edition at lunchtime on the Friday and Sunday.
I'm appearing at the SO 2009 Festival in Skegness on July 24th.
On August 2nd I'm at The Big Chill at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire.
On August 22nd I'm at Beautiful Days in Devon, then the next day (23rd) I'll be at The Green Man Festival in Brecon Beacons.
